A neighbour gave me a slip of this old fashioned rose a couple of years ago. It buds as a strong purple colour but as it opens wide, it fades to pink. Although, very delicate and doesn't last long , it has the most divine scent. It is also a great magnet for the bees and butterflies. A delight to see it bloom each year!
